Keys to Freedom, Keys to Oppression

"Women of the West Somali liberation front express their support for Somalia during the war against Ethiopia for the border territory of the Ogaden 1977-78."

It's interesting to see so many interesting guns in one photograph. I see an STG-44, a Beretta M38 SMG, an Egyptian Hakim rifle, a Carcano cavalry carbine, an American M-14, some type of Mauser, and I believe two Czech Vz52 rifles (although I may be mistaken. The guns in suspect are the two with bayonets pointing in the air).

Guns are not evil. We say they are because they allow us to kill people easier. If you were being oppressed, and someone came along and fought your oppressors, would you complain?

However, where they become a problem is when no one is being oppressed. They become a problem when they are used without reason and without logic. They become a problem when people use them for petty reasons.

Don't use a gun when you could use your mind.

But sometimes, a gun is the only choice.
