African Mystique

I'm not sure why but Africa, despite its problems, is an amazing place. It's the mystique, the classical romantic aura that it has. I once read a book called West With The Night by Beryl Markham about her life in Africa. She was the first female pilot in Africa. She grew up on a farm in British East Africa, now Kenya, with her parents. She raced horses and then eventually learned to fly. It's an amazing book, and it only furthered my interesting about Africa.

On another note, the Lee-Enfield No. 1 Mk. III* rifle I have is South African marked. Quite rare and definitely interesting.
