Unseen and Unusual

Loading ammunition into a Tiger tank. This is one aspect of a combat operation that seems rather forgotten and ignored.
A rare photo of a Maus heavy tank on a train car. The only surviving one (of 9 built or partially built) is in the Moscow Tank Museum. The idea of a super-heavy tank is good, but there was one problem with them in the situation the German's were in in 1945: the air superiority of the allies. If they had managed to complete and field these in any numbers, they would have been very good targets for rockets and bombs, being as slow as they were.
