You know, I've figured something out recently because I've been driving my car so much and working on it some. Some vehicles really do have a "personality" even if it is only our perception of one. Not every car is like this though. The closest thing I can equate it to is a horse. Even though you can't communicate verbally, you learn to communicate through other channels. I've spent a bit over 14,000 miles in my car, and I can tell when something could be wrong (or right again) because of the sounds and vibrations it makes. I love my car even if it is old, slow, and has old paint. This may sound a bit materialistic, but that car means a lot to me. |
